2025 Track State Champs
This Spring, our men’s varsity track team captured the MHSAA State Championship. Bringing the school's total state championships to ten.
The team was trailing by 3 points going into the final event. The Eagles dug deep, shattering the previous SCS record by over 4 seconds to finish the 1600 meter relay with a new school record of 3:24.36, and winning the title by just one point.
Brock Morris (‘25) led the team, winning the 200-meter title and the 400-meter title, breaking the state title in the 400. That wasn’t the only record broken by the Eagles that day. Brock teamed up with Dylan Taylor-Wilkerson (‘25), Jadon Staten (‘25), and Robert Brown (‘25) to break the D4 state record in the 800-meter relay that was last set in 2001. Helping the team to victory are the other members of the team: Andrew Harris (‘25), Jaden McCallister, Justin Bryant (‘25).
